Club America is the Mexican club that will receive the largest payment from FIFA for its called-up players to the 2026 World Cup. The Eagles will receive 1.2 million euros. This is due to the fact that FIFA pays clubs for each player who has activity in the international tournament. Additionally, Julian Quiñones, Álvaro Fidalgo and Rodrigo Aguirre will contribute a small percentage as per the FIFA regulations, a club also receives a part of a player who played for them in the last two years. This is an advantage for Club America, as they will have more money than Chivas, which is the second club to receive payments from FIFA. The Eagles have four players called up to the 2026 World Cup: Israel Reyes, Alejandro Zendejas, Sebastián Cáceres and Brian Rodríguez. These players will be part of the Mexican, American and Uruguayan national teams. The 2026 World Cup is the first edition with 48 qualified teams and will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
